The Fourth Annual Fine Art Friends Art Exhibit was held from April 1- May 2, 2008 in the Henry J. Bazan Community Room of the Emily L. Partyka Central Branch. For images of the exhibit by Ralph Jasinski, visit: http://friendsofchicopeelibrary.blogspot.com/
The exhibit was kicked off with reception and awards ceremony on Thursday, April 3. Our Art reception was fantastic with a great turnout and speeches of welcome and gratitude by Mayor Bissonnette, John and Nancy Michon. Dan Kane was a huge success on the new Yamaha baby grand piano. Many of the 64 artists represented in the exhibit were on hand to meet and greet the visitors. The food was delectable and the floral arrangement by Golden Blossoms was absolutely beautiful. The Henry J. Bazan Community Room has already been reserved for our 5th Annual Fine Art Friends Art Exhibit to be held next March, 2009. 2008 Award Winners Robert R.
